The Public Art Directory is now back online! It catalogues many public artworks around the Braintree District, and was originally researched and created by Braintree District Arts back in 2010-11. It is now in the care of Braintree Community Centre, and can be found on our Facebook page, and at the Arts hub here on the website: https://www.braintreecommunitycentre.org.uk/arts/
You can see all of the artworks that were a part of the Braintree Open Art Exhibition 2019, which ran from 19th to 20th October. Congratulations to all of the artists, and thank you for taking part!
The exhibition was hosted by Braintree Community Centre and sponsored by George Yard Shopping Centre, Braintree Against Retail and Business Crime Group, and Braintree Shopmobility.
The Open Art Gallery for the 2017 Exhibition, as well as the Braintree Public Art Directory will also be returning soon.
The next Open is planned for August 2020 – stay tuned!
Due to bad weather conditions Braintree Community Centre is closed and all classes have been canceled.
We will continue to assess the conditions and provide updates via our facebook and twitter feeds. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit braintreecommunitycentre.org.uk for all the latest updates.
We apologize for any inconveince caused.
As you may have noticed we’ve recently redesigned the website with a new look and some more functionality.
We’ve now made it easier for you to book a place on any of our events, classes and workshops. You can now securely book online to reserve your ticket. Currently, payment has to be made by phone once the booking has been placed, but we hope to be able to offer online payments in the future. We are also working on making it possible to enrol on our weekly classes directly from the website.
Do bear in mind that some parts are still under construction, but we would welcome any feedback you may have – please use our contact form.
