The Braintree Rethink Self-Help Art Group meet every Tuesday and provide help and support to all those with mental illness. “Creative Minds” is an exhibition celebrating their 12th Birthday – over those 12 years they have helped over 200 people! Braintree Open Online Submissions

As we were unable to go ahead with the planned exhibition this year, we are instead having our first online exhibition. The artworks will be displayed in an online gallery on our Facebook page and on the Arts Hub of our website. There are no entry fees or prizes, but we hope this will help tide our artists over to next year when we will hopefully be able to resume the usual annual “physical” exhibitions again, and will grant us the opportunity to see what everyone has been up to creatively over the past few months! Open Art 2020

The Braintree Open Art Exhibition 2020 will be from Saturday 22nd to Monday 31st August, with submissions taken on the week beginning 10th August. The Public Art Directory is now back online! It catalogues many public artworks around the Braintree District, and was originally researched and created by Braintree District Arts back in 2010-11.
