Public Art Directory

The Public Art Directory is now back online! It catalogues many public artworks around the Braintree District, and was originally researched and created by Braintree District Arts back in 2010-11. It is now in the care of Braintree Community Centre, and can be found on our Facebook page, and at the Arts hub here on the website: https://www.braintreecommunitycentre.org.uk/arts/

Open 2019 Prize Winners

Congratulations to all of the prize winners at the 2019 Open. 🏅
Don’t be disheartened if you didn’t win a prize – as we all know, art is subjective, and another year with a different group of judges you could win – so please enter again next time!
The online gallery showcasing all of the artworks will be here by the end of the week. 👀

New Prices from 28th October 2019

From Monday 28th October, new room hire and class charges will come into effect.

We’ve tried to retain our current prices for as long as possible, but as costs rise we do have to increase our fees to be able to continue to offer our current standard of facilities and services.

The standard class fee will be £7.50, but you can save money by taking advantage of our block booking deal which will be £40 for 6 weeks of classes.

All existing hires and class block-bookings will be honoured at their current prices.

We also now have two new rooms available for hire upstairs. Room 3 has two comfortable sofas and is great for an informal meeting or training session, and Room 7 is ideal for use as an office or counselling room.

You can download a full price list here.
