Landscapes in Acrylic and Paper Collage

A fun day using paper collage with acrylic paint to create textured and vibrant landscapes. David will demonstrate how he works on canvas. Come prepared to push the boundaries working in this style and challenge yourself. Just have a go!

Equipment & Materials

You will need to bring:
– Large box canvas – at least 50 x 50cm in size
– Standing or table easel
– Acrylic paints – bright colours
– Bristle brushes
– Palette – greaseproof paper on cardboard is adequate
– PVA waterproof glue
– Collage papers – handmade paper, old watercolour paintings, decorative papers, doilies, sugar paper, old sheet music, old maps, book covers, stamps and postcards, newsprint and magazine
– Scissors, kitchen roll, glue pot and 2 water pots

There is no additional materials cost for this class.

Information for Students

Limited parking to the side and rear of the centre.  Wheelchair access is available at the front of the Centre.
 

Payment

Class fees are payable on the day at reception on arrival.  Workshop fees must be paid 2 weeks before, either in person or by phone unless otherwise stated.
