Weekly Crochet Class

We have a new weekly class starting next Friday 7th September – Crochet! 10am to 12pm every Friday with Kim, who you may recognise from our lovely office team. ☺️ Suitable for beginners and if you fancy giving it a try your first session is completely free, with no obligation to continue. If you cannot make this day or time, please still get in touch as we may be able to organise an extra evening class if there is enough interest. Quiz Night

On September 14th we are hosting a quiz night with Purple Sector Entertainment, to raise funds for the Centre. Tickets are £5 per person with teams of between 3 and 6 people, and the winning team will get £50! It promises to be a fun night, so gather up your friends and get a team together! Warren’s Skydive

This September, our very own Warren will be jumping out of a plane to raise money for a computer suite at the Community Centre. We’ve encouraged him to take a parachute as we’d quite like him back afterwards! Machine Embroidery Summer School

Following the success of the first Machine Embroidery class back in March, Maggie Harling will be returning to deliver a whole series of classes as part of the Braintree Summer School! There will be six Machine Embroidery workshops over the summer, covering various techniques and providing plenty of opportunity for experimentation. All of the classes will be suitable for any ability level and as standalone classes you can attend as many or as few as you like, and in any combination – however, we will be offering discounts and useful free gifts depending on how many you book!
