Please aim to arrive at around 9.30am to set up your equipment so we can start promptly at 10am.
You will need to bring:
– Acrylic paints – vibrant colours (Winsor & Newton Galeria range are good) – do not worry if you do not have a large range of colours, the tutor can provide some extra.
– Wax or oil pastels (any other “mark-makers” can also be used)
– Hot-pressed watercolour paper at least 140lbs in weight – large size at least 60 x 60 cm
– Large bristle brushes and palette knife
– Easel – preferably free-standing but a table easel will suffice
– Board and bulldog clips – ensure the board is large enough to fit your paper
– Palette – greaseproof paper on cardboard is adequate, or stay-wet palette
– 2 water pots and roll of kitchen towels
There is no additional materials cost for this class.
