Due to popular demand, Bianca will be running an Intermediate/Advanced Lino Printmaking Workshop where you can create your own Lino stamp and print your own design (All levels are welcome).
You will be using traditional Lino cutting techniques, including isolation, negative space and layering for multi-coloured printing, you will learn how to create your own Lino printing block which you can keep for many more prints you may want to make at home.
Although it is not necessary, do feel free to bring with you some ideas and inspiration for your block stamp. Simple large block designs and silhouette shapes work best for this type of printmaking. However, examples and ideas are also provided in the workshop. You will leave the workshop with a set of Lino blocks and prints.
There will be an additional cost of around £15 for a Linocut Taster Kit that will need to be purchased prior to attending the workshop, details and links are below:

Packs are also available at Hobbycraft and eBay, these have a range of blades and Lino boards and come with one ink in red, or blue, or black or gold water-based print-making ink.
Learners will also need to bring along an apron or old clothes.
