Website Redesign

As you may have noticed we’ve recently redesigned the website with a new look and some more functionality.

We’ve now made it easier for you to book a place on any of our events, classes and workshops. You can now securely book online to reserve your ticket. Currently, payment has to be made by phone once the booking has been placed, but we hope to be able to offer online payments in the future. We are also working on making it possible to enrol on our weekly classes directly from the website.

Do bear in mind that some parts are still under construction, but we would welcome any feedback you may have – please use our contact form.

Users Meeting Rescheduled – 19th January 2018

Users Meeting

Friday 19th January 2018, 7-9pm

All users of the Centre are invited to join us for a cheese and wine evening to welcome in the New Year.

We will be talking about our plans for 2018, and you will have the opportunity to provide us with your opinions, comments and suggestions to help us to improve.

We look forward to working with you for another year!

The meeting was originally planned to take place on the 8th December 2017, but we unfortunately had to reschedule due to diary clashes – apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Term Times

The Centre will be closed for Christmas from 21st December 2017 to 2nd January 2018, so there will be no classes or bookings taken for this period. Please consult your class tutors for specific finishing dates.

Our full programme of classes can be found here: https://www.braintreecommunitycentre.org.uk/our-classes/ – including languages, art, and even cake decorating. If you think you might be interested in one of our classes but aren’t quite sure yet, you can try your first session for free before deciding if you would like to join the class or not. Feel free to contact the office to arrange your taster visit!

Braintree Art Trail 2017

The Braintree Art Trail has begun, with work by local artists on display in windows around George Yard Shopping Centre in Braintree.
You can find an online copy of the map by clicking here, or when you’re in town you’ll be able to pick up a map from outside the front of the George Yard Management Suite (just on the left after you enter the shopping centre from Bank Street). From there you can begin following the trail!

Don’t miss out on our competition, which will give you the chance to win a full term of weekly classes in any of the classes we run in the Community Centre – any of the BBCA classes listed here (link). For your chance to win, join our Facebook page (@BraintreeCommunityCentre), and then share a picture of yourself in front of your favourite display in the Art Trail with us. You will then be entered into a random draw at the end of the Art Trail.

Please help us by spreading the word with your friends and on social media!
