17 March at 10:00 am - 4:00 pm £35
With Maggie Harling
Saturday 17th March 2018, 10am – 4pm
Working with the feed up and using the straight, satin and automatic stitch options on your sewing machine, explore and extend the possibilities of even the simplest stitches to create stunning results ready to use in your own, creative, future projects.
Demonstrations will feature throughout the day showing you how to accomplish a variety of distinctive results.
Plenty of visual aids will be shown to illustrate, with a little bit of experimentation, the many different effects to be achieved using basic machine embroidery techniques.
By the end of the workshop you will have a sampler of various machine embroidery techniques as a valuable reference.
£35 for this full day workshop, payable in advance.
Free refreshments provided throughout the day, but bring or buy your own lunch.
£4 materials cost payable to the tutor on the day of the class.

There may be an additional cost for appropriate materials, which if applicable, should be paid to the tutor on the day of the class – please check the class details.
Fees are non-refundable from two weeks before the class unless we can sell the space to another student (subject to a minimum of six students booked). Fees may be transferable at our discretion.
Please understand that the Centre cannot afford to run classes at a loss, since we are a charity. As such, classes may be cancelled if we are unable to achieve a minimum of 6 students. If this is the case, you will be informed two weeks before the date of the class and your fee will be refunded.
